Website analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager. Analytics tags and cookies activate only after you allow them; Google may process page views and browser/device information. Advertising storage and personalization are disabled. Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed using Cookie preferences at the bottom of the page. This section concerns the website; the text below describes the mobile app.
In Baciko, you talk to AI characters, not real people. Responses may be incorrect and do not replace professional medical, legal, or financial advice.
Your regular conversations and account details are stored on Supabase infrastructure. To generate a response, your recent messages, summaries of long conversations, attachments you send, and saved memories—only when enabled—are sent to OpenAI.
Temporary chat messages are not saved in the app database, and memory is not used. Request status and usage counts are retained to manage your allowance. Once you close a temporary chat, you cannot recover its messages. Memory is off by default. You choose what is remembered. You can view and individually delete saved memories in settings. Turning memory off does not delete them; it stops their use in new responses.
When you edit a message, previous versions are retained until you delete the entire conversation. You can delete conversations, or delete your account to remove its conversations and memories from the app. Service providers’ backup and retention policies also apply.
Photo, PDF, and text attachments are stored privately and can only be accessed by your account. You can delete them individually in My files. Deleting a conversation or account also removes its associated attachments. Temporary chats do not upload files.
Dictation and live calls send audio to OpenAI. The app does not retain audio recordings; live call transcripts are saved in your regular conversation. Read aloud uses your device’s speech service. Web search sends only that message to OpenAI; memory and previous conversation are not shared. Memory suggestions are enabled separately and are not saved without your approval.
Signing in with Apple or Google provides your name and email address. If you enable reminders, your device’s Expo push token is stored on the server. Your name, profile information, interests and mood entries from the last seven days are sent to OpenAI to generate personalized notifications; the push token and notification text are sent to Expo. Local reminders are scheduled on your device when push is unavailable. Reporting a response stores your selected reason, note and response text for review.
Subscription purchases and restoration use Apple App Store or Google Play. RevenueCat associates your subscription with your account’s user ID; the app does not receive your payment card details. Subscription status and access duration are verified on the server. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription.
When the app crashes or an unexpected error occurs, technical details of the error (code location, device model, operating system and app version) are sent to Sentry, which runs on servers in Germany. These reports never include your messages, files, memories, email address or account ID. Reports are used only to fix bugs.
Baciko is only for people aged 18 and over. Accounts that state they are under 18 cannot access chat. If we learn that data belongs to someone under 18, we delete the account and its data.
Your account and conversation data are processed to provide the service you request; content is sent to OpenAI based on the explicit consent you give at sign-up. Supabase (Frankfurt), Sentry (Germany) and Resend (Ireland, sign-in emails) process data in the EU; OpenAI, Expo (notifications) and RevenueCat (subscriptions) process it in the United States. Data is kept until you delete it or your account. You can download a copy in Settings and memory → Export my data, edit your profile, delete conversations and memories, or delete your account at any time. For other requests, write to the support email below. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority).
